Massey Ferguson 1105 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Checking engine primary and secondary air filter element. Change if necessary.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 200 hours

Service engine air filters. Replace as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 1041845M91. Engine secondary air filter part number: 1041846M91.

Replace engine oil. Recommended motor oil type - SAE20, 20W-20. API service classification MS, DM. How much to add: Engine Oil Capacity - 4.3 gal (16.3 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Replace engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: 1447031M2. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Clean cab air filter element. Cab air filter part number: 529760M1. Change as required.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 836218V92. Check injection pump settings.

Every 750 hours

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Oil type - Permatran, M-1127. How much is needed: System Capacity - 17 gal (64.3 L). After installing a new filter, check that the hydraulic/transmission oil level is correct.

Replacing transmission fluid filter. Transmission fluid filter element part number: 586854V1. After installation, checking the hydraulic/transmission oil level is recommended. If after checking the hydraulic/transmission fluid level is low, add it.

Replace hydraulic filter element. Part number of hydraulic filter: 516069M94. After installation, checking the hydraulic/transmission fluid level is recommended. Add oil if required.

Front axle lubricant change. Oil Type - Permatran.

Install a new engine air filter elements.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filter.

Install a new cab air filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 22 qt (20.8 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
