Massey Ferguson 2210 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filter elements. Install new primary and secondary filters if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check idle engine speed, steering, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 250 Hours

Change engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API service classification CD/CF-4. Oil system capacity: 8 qt (7.5 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Engine oil filter replacement. Filter part number - 1447048M2. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Inspect and service engine air filters.

Steering filter replacement. Steering filter part number: 3931422M1.

Replace hydraulic filter element. Part number of hydraulic filter: 3555711M91. Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level after installing a new filter element. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings.

Every 500 Hours

Engine primary air filter element checking. Change if necessary. Part number - 3540046M1.

Engine secondary air filter element inspection. Replace as required. Part number - 3540047M1.

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 836218V92. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Every 1000 Hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil: Permatran, Power fluid 821 XL. How much is needed: Oil Capacity - 9.3 gal (35 L). After installing a new filter, check that the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is correct.

Check radiator coolant. Top up if coolant is low.

Front axle lubricant change. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 3.1 qt (3.1 L). Front Axle Oil Type - Permatran, Gear Lube 715.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 10.6 qts (10.0 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
