Massey Ferguson 3210 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Check the engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check engine primary and secondary air filter elements. Install new filters if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 250 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended oil type - SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API service classification CD/CF-4. Engine oil capacity: 7.4 qt (7 L). After replacing the engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - 1447031M2. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Check the engine air filter elements and clean if required.

Hydraulic filter element replacement. Hydraulic filter element part number - 3530223M92. When installation is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add oil if required.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Every 500 Hours

Change diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 836218V92. Check diesel fuel pump performance.

Check engine primary air filter element. Change if necessary. Part number - 3540046M1.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required. Part number - 3540047M1.

Steering oil filter changing. Steering filter part number: 3300901M91.

Every 1000 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic fluid type - Permatran, Final Drive - Gearlube 715. How much to fill: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 8.7 gal (33 L). After replacing the transmission/hydraulic oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace cab air filter element. Cab air filter part number - 3302666M92, 3405118M1 Carbon.

Check cooling system for leaks. Top up if required.

Front axle oil change. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.6 qt (1.5 L). Steering Oil Type - Powerlube 411.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Replace cab air filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 21.6 qt (20 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
