Ford 1310 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Check the engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended motor oil type - SAE 10W-40, 15W-40, 10W-30, SAE 10W. Engine oil capacity: 4 qt (3.8 L). After completing the filling procedure, check motor oil level.

Check engine air filter element. Change if necessary. Part number - 86512886.

Service engine fuel filter element.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 200 Hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Engine oil filter part number: 86546623 / SBA140516180. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 87300039 / SBA360720020. Check diesel fuel pump operation.

Every 300 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil type: 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to pour: Oil Capacity - 5.8 gal (22 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic fluid up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Replace hydraulic filter. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Front axle fluid change. Front Axle Capacity - 3.2 qt (3 L). Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90.

Change engine oil and filter. Service oil system components.

Install a new air filter element.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil.

Replace hydraulic filter.

Replace the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 2.9 qt (2.7 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injectors.
