Ford 1210 Maintenance Data

Ford 1210 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When hydraulic/transmission oil is low, add recommended volume.

Check air filter. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, service brakes and hand brake. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: SAE 10W-40, 15W-40, 10W-30, SAE 10W. Engine oil capacity: 3.5 qt (3.3 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Check engine air filter element. Change if necessary. Part number - 86512886.

Clean fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 87300039 / SBA360720020.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings.

Every 200 Hours

Replace engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: 86546623 / SBA140516180. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if required.

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 87300039 / SBA360720020. Check the efficiency of injection pump.

Every 300 Hours

Changing hydraulic/transmission oil. Recommended oil - 134D, SAE 10W-40. How much is required: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity: Gear - 4.3 gal (16.1 L), Hydro - 3.8 gal (14.4 L). When the procedure is complete, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level.

Changing hydraulic filter element. Part number of hydraulic filter element - SBA340500990. When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. Add fluid if required.

Change front axle oil. Front Axle Capacity - 1.9 qt (1.8 L). Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Change air filter element.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 2.4 qt (2.3 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
