Ford 2310 Maintenance Information

Ford 2310 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. When hydraulic/transmission oil is low, fill in new oil.

Checking engine air filters. Change if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 300 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended oil - SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, 15W-30, SAE 10W. How much is needed: Engine Oil Capacity - 7 qt (6.6 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Engine oil filter changing. Filter part number - 86546614 or E8NN6714AA. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Engine air filter element checking. Clean as required.

Check the engine fuel filter. Service if required.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 600 Hours

Replacing primary and secondary air filter elements. Engine air filter part number: 84493216 or 86525008, E9NN9B618AA or D6NN9601B.

Change steering oil. Recommended oil type: 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to change: Steering Oil Capacity - 1.9 qt (1.8 L). Check steering oil level after change.

Replace filter in power steering system. Steering filter element part number - EDPN3K758A.

Every 1200 Hours

Change transmission oil. Recommended oil type: 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to change: Transmission Oil Capacity - 3 gal (11.5 L). Check transmission oil level after replacement.

Change hydraulic fluid. Recommended fluid type: 134D, SAE 10W-30. Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 6.2 gal (23.3 L). Check the hydraulic oil level. Add fluid if necessary.

Replace filter in hydraulic system. Hydraulic filter element part number - 84518613 or D6NNB486A. When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 84535312 or EDPN9N074AA. Check diesel fuel pump performance.

Power Steering Filter. Part Number: EDPN3K758A

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change air filter elements.

Replace hydraulic filter and change hydraulic fluid.

Change transmission oil.

Replace power steering filter and change steering oil.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 11 qt (10.4 L).

Check all clamps and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
