Ford 2910 Maintenance Data

Ford 2910 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Check motor oil level. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, add it.

Checking engine air filters. Change if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 300 Hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended motor oil: SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, 15W-30, SAE 10W. Oil system capacity: 7 qt (6.6 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Engine oil filter replacement. Oil filter part number: 86546614 or E8NN6714AA. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If necessary, add it.

Inspect engine air filter elements. Clean as required.

Check the fuel filter element and service if required.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Every 600 Hours

Engine air filter elements replacement. Air filter part number - 84493216 or 86525008, E9NN9B618AA or D6NN9601B.

Change steering oil. Recommended oil - 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much is required: Steering Oil Capacity - 1.9 qt (1.8 L).

Change power steering filter. Steering filter element part number - EDPN3K758A.

Every 1200 Hours

Change transmission oil. Recommended oil - 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much is required: Oil Capacity: 3.1 gal (11.5 L) 8x2 transmission, 2.5 gal (9.5 L) 8x4 transmission. After filling, check the transmission fluid level with a dipstick.

Change hydraulic oil. Hydraulic Oil Type - 134D, SAE 10W-30. Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 6.2 gal (23.3 L). Check the hydraulic oil level after changing.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter element part number - 84518613 or D6NNB486A. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic oil level. If necessary, add it.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 84535312 or EDPN9N074AA. Check injection pump adjustments.

Change front axle fluid. Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 5.8 qt (5.5 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubrication system components.

Change primary and secondary air filter elements.

Change transmission oil.

Change hydraulic filter and fill the hydraulic system with fresh oil.

Install a new power steering filter.

Change steering oil.

Replace the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 11 qt (10.4 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charge.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
