Ford 1320 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission fluid level. If the hydraulic/transmission fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Checking air filter. Replace if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check idle engine speed, steering unit, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended motor oil type - SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, SAE 10W. How much to pour: Engine Oil Capacity - 4.8 qt (4.5 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Inspect engine air filter element. Replace as required. Part number - 84541251.

Inspect the engine fuel filter element and clean if necessary.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings.

Every 200 Hours

Engine oil filter changing. Engine oil filter part number: 84475542 / SBA140516170. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Change diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 87300039 / SBA360720020. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Every 300 Hours

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended fluid type: 134D, ATF Dexron II-D. How much is required: Oil Capacity - 5.8 gal (22 L). Fill with the new hydraulic/transmission oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Change hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 9846407, SBA340500990, SBA340500370 (HST). Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level after installing a new filter element. Add oil if required.

Change front axle fluid. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 3.2 qt (3 L). Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.9 qt (1.8 L). Steering Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube LS 80W-90.

Change filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Install a new air cleaner element.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil.

Install a new hydraulic filter.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 4.2 qt (4 L) with gear transmission, 5.3 qt (5 L) with hydrostatic transmission.

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charge.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
