Ford 1900 Inspection and Maintenance

Ford 1900 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Motor oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check air filter. Install a new filter if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and hand brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Changing engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE 10W-40, 15W-40, 10W-30, 15W-30, SAE 20W-20. Oil system capacity: 6.7 qt (6.3 L). After replacing the engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Inspect engine air filter element. Replace as required. Part number - SBA314530122.

Inspect and service engine fuel filter.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 200 Hours

Change engine oil filter. Filter part number - 86546613 / E1NN6714BB. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 87300041. Check the operation of injection pump.

Every 300 Hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic fluid type - 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to change: Oil Capacity - 6.4 gal (24 L). After completing the filling procedure, check transmission/hydraulic fluid level.

Replace hydraulic oil filter. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If necessary, add it.

Front axle fluid change. Front Axle Capacity - 2.7 qt (2.5 L). Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90.

Change engine oil and filter. Service oil system components.

Install a new hydraulic filter.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Replace the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 6.3 qt (6 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
