Ford 2810 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filters. Change if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 300 Hours

Check engine primary/secondary air filter elements. Change if necessary.

Check and service engine fuel filter element.

Changing engine oil. Recommended oil type - SAE 15W-40, 10W-30, 15W-30, SAE 10W. How much to fill: Engine Oil Capacity - 7 qt (6.6 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: 86546614 or E8NN6714AA. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add oil.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings.

Every 600 Hours

Changing steering oil. Recommended oil type: 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to add: Steering Oil Capacity - 2.3 qt (2.2 L). Add steering oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Power steering oil filter changing. Steering filter part number: EDPN3K758A.

Engine air filter elements replacement. Air filter part number - 84493216 or 86525008, E9NN9B618AA or D6NN9601B.

Every 1200 Hours

Changing transmission fluid. Recommended fluid type: 134D, SAE 10W-30. How much to add: Oil Capacity: 3.2 gal (12 L) 8x2 transmission, 2.5 gal (9.4 L) 8x4 transmission. Add transmission oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Hydraulic oil changing. Hydraulic Oil Type - 134D, SAE 10W-30. Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 12.1 gal (45.8 L). Check the hydraulic oil level after change.

Hydraulic filter element replacement. Hydraulic filter element part number - 84518613 or D6NNB486A.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 84535312 or EDPN9N074AA. Check the operation of injection pump.

Front axle fluid change. Front Axle Oil Type - 134D, Gearlube 80W-90. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 5.8 qt (5.5 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Change engine air filter elements.

Change transmission oil.

Replace hydraulic filter and change hydraulic oil.

Replace power steering filter and change steering oil.

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 11 qt (10.4 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
