Kubota BX1870 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Check motor oil level. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Check engine air filter element. Replace if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check idle engine speed, steering, parking brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Change And Filter Replacement

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended motor oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 15W-40. How much to change: Oil system capacity (Kubota D722-E3) - 3.1 qts (2.9 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Replace oil filter. Filter part number - HH150-32430. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Hydrostatic transmission oil filter replacement. Oil filter part number: HHK20-36990. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Change hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: K2581-36520. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Every 400 Hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT, Super UDT, Super UDT-2. How much to pour: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 12.5 qts (11.8 L). After replacing the transmission/hydraulic oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 12581-43012. Check diesel fuel pump operation.

Clean engine air filter element. Change if necessary. Air filter part number - K1211-82320.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle capacity: 2.3 qts (2.1 L).

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 3.0 qts (2.8 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
