Kubota BX1880 Maintenance Information

Kubota BX1880 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Checking engine air filter element. Change if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if required.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended oil - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 15W-40. How much to add: Oil system capacity (Kubota D722-E4): 2.85 qts (2.68 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Replace oil filter. Filter element part number - HH150-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Replacing hydrostatic transmission fluid filter. Transmission oil filter part number: HHK20-36990. When installation is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If required, add it.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: K2581-36520. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. Add fluid if necessary.

Check and service air filter element. Air filter element part number: K1211-82320.

Every 400 Hours

Replace transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil type - Kubota UDT, Super UDT, Super UDT-2. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 12.1 qts (11.4 L). When the procedure is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 12581-43012. Check diesel fuel pump adjustment.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 3.8 qts (3.6 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Change engine air filter.

Install a new HST transmission filter.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil.

Change hydraulic filter.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 2.6 qts (2.4 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
