Kubota L2550 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. If hydraulic/transmission oil is too low, fill in new oil.

Check engine air filters. Install a new filters if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Check engine primary air filter element. Clean if necessary. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Clean as required. Part number - 15287-11490.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil. Motor oil type: SAE10W, 10W-30, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, DS or DM. How much to change: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1402-DI-A) - 6.7 qts (6.3 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: H3840-37712/30400-37710/31391-38830. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil. Add fluid if required.

Every 400 hours

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much to fill: System capacity: 7.4 gal (28 L). After completing the filling procedure, check transmission/hydraulic fluid level.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle case capacity: 6.8 qts (6.4 L). Steering gear case: 0.11 qts (0.1 L). Steering gear box: 0.21 qts (0.2 L).

Changing engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If required, add it.

Replace air filter elements. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 15287-11490.

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 15521-43160. Check injection pump settings.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (5.9 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
