Kubota L225DT Maintenance Information

Kubota L225DT Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checks

Check engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When hydraulic/transmission oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check engine air filter element. Install a new filter if required.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Engine oil change. Engine oil type - API service DS or DM, SAE20, SAE30. How much to add: Oil system capacity (Kubota D1100-A): 5.6 qts (5.3 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Inspect the air filter element and service if necessary. Part number - 70000-11221.

Inspect fuel filter element. Clean as required. Part number - 15221-43170.

Every 150 Hours

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - 15213-32090 (Spin-on). Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if required.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Gear Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 300 Hours

Changing hydraulic/transmission oil. Recommended fluid type: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Fluid capacity: 23 qts (21.0 L). After completing the filling procedure, check hydraulic/transmission fluid level.

Perform hydraulic filter element replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter element - 34150-37710 (Screen). After replacing the filter element, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. Add oil if required.

Replacing air filter elements. Air filter part number - 70000-11221.

Change fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15221-43170. Check diesel fuel pump adjustment.

Front axle oil change. Steering box capacity: 0.3 qts (0.2 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Install a new engine air cleaner elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil.

Install a new hydraulic filter.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.2 qts (6.8 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
