Kubota L235DT Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Checking engine air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Perform inspection and cleaning of the engine air filter. Part number: 70000-11221.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings. Gear Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: API Service CC, or CD SAE20, SAE30, 10W-30. How much to change: Oil system capacity (Kubota D1102-A): 6.4 qts (6.1 L). After adding engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Every 300 Hours

Changing hydraulic/transmission oil. Oil type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 24.5 qts (23.0 L). Check hydraulic/transmission fluid level after changing.

Hydraulic oil filter changing. Hydraulic filter part number: H3840-37712. Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level after installing a new filter. Add hydraulic/transmission fluid if it is low.

Change front axle oil. Steering Gear Box: 0.30 qts (0.28 L).

Every 400 Hours

Changing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Changing engine air filter element. Air filter part number - 70000-11221.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15221-43160. Check the correct operation of diesel fuel pump.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 7 qts (6.6 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
