Kubota L185 Maintenance Data

Kubota L185 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checks

Engine oil level checking procedure. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, add it.

Check engine air filter element. Replace if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check idle engine speed, steering, service brakes and hand brake. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Inspect the engine air filter element and clean if necessary. Part Number: 70000-11221.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings. Oil type: 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended oil type: API service DS or DM, SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. How much is required: Oil system capacity (Kubota Z751-A) - 4.0 qts (3.8 L). After completing the filling procedure, check motor oil level.

Every 300 hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil type: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 23 qts (21 L). After changing the transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Replacing hydraulic fluid filter. Hydraulic filter part number: 34150-37710. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is recommended. Add transmission fluid if it is low.

Every 400 Hours

Engine oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: 15213-32090. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. Add oil if required.

Engine air filter element replacement. Air filter part number - 70000-11221.

Change engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15221-43170. Check injection pump settings.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle oil type: 80W-90. Steering box capacity: 0.30 qts (0.28 L).

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 5.6 qts (5.3 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
