Kubota BX2660 Maintenance Information

Kubota BX2660 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Motor oil level checking. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. If the transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, add it.

Engine air filter checking. Install a new filter if required.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 200 hours

Engine oil change. Recommended motor oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 10W-40, 15W-40. Lubricating system capacity (Kubota D1005-E3): 3.7 qts (3.5 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH150-32094. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Hydrostatic transmission fluid filter replacement. HST filter part number: HHK20-36990. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add fluid if required.

Inspect and clean the engine air filter. Part Number: K1211-82320.

Every 400 Hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Fluid type - Kubota UDT, Super UDT, or Super UDT-2. How much to fill: Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 12.4 qts (11.7 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: K2581-36520. After replacing the filter element, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add hydraulic oil if it is low.

Changing engine air filter element. Engine air filter part number: K1211-82320.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 12581-43012. Check diesel fuel pump settings.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle capacity: 5.0 qts (4.7 L).

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Install a new engine air filter.

Replace hydrostatic transmission filter.

Replace hydraulic oil filter.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filters.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.1 qts (2.9 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
