Kubota L3240 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Engine air filters checking. Install a new filter elements if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idle speed, steering, hand brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Service fuel filter element. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160.

Clean engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - TA040-93230.

Clean engine secondary air filter element. Part number - TA040-93220.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended oil - SAE30, SAE 10W-30, SAE20 or SAE 10W-40. API service classification CD, CE, or CF. Oil system capacity (Kubota D1703-M-E2): 6.0 qts (5.7 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Engine oil filter replacement. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Every 400 hours

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Oil type - Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. System capacity: 11.1 gal (42 L). Fill with the new hydraulic/transmission oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Perform hydraulic filter element replacement. Hydraulic filter element part number - HHTA0-37710. After replacing the filter, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. If required, add it.

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160. Check injection pump adjustments.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L).

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
