Kubota BX2230 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Check engine air filter element. Change if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine speed, steering, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Change And Filter Replacement

Every 200 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil: SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 15W-40. How much to add: Oil system capacity (Kubota D902-E) - 2.9 qts (2.7 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: HH150-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add oil.

Check and service the engine air filter. Part Number: K1211-82320.

Every 400 Hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic oil type - Kubota UDT, Super UDT, Super UDT-2. How much to add: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 10.8 qts (10.2 L). After filling, check the fluid level with a dipstick.

Changing HST fluid filter. Hydrostatic transmission filter part number - HHK20-36990. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is recommended. Add fluid if necessary.

Changing hydraulic filter element. Part number of hydraulic filter: 66021-36390. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is recommended. Add oil if required.

Change engine air filter element. Engine air filter part number: K1211-82320.

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 12581-43012. Check the correct operation of injection pump.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle capacity: 5.0 qts (4.7 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubrication system components.

Install a new engine air cleaner element.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Change hydraulic filter.

Replace HST transmission filter.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.3 qts (3.1 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injectors.
