Kubota L345 Inspection and Maintenance

Kubota L345 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine primary/secondary air filter element. Change if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended motor oil type - SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service Classification CC or CD. How much to fill: Engine oil capacity (Kubota V1501-DA) - 9.6 qts (9.1 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Engine air filter elements checking. Clean as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 15287-11490.

Every 150 hours

Change engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: 15402-32430. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 300 hours

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Recommended oil type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic system capacity: 31.7 qts (30 L). After completing the filling procedure, check hydraulic/transmission fluid level.

Change hydraulic fluid filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 37300-37710. After installation, checking the hydraulic/transmission oil level is recommended. Add oil if required.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle gear case: 0.74 qts (0.70 L). Steering box: 0.32 qts (0.30 L). Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Every 400 hours

Engine primary air filter change. Part Number - 70000-11081.

Engine secondary air filter replacement. Part Number - 15287-11490.

Change diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160. Check injection pump settings.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 7.4 qts (7.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
