Kubota L3430 Maintenance and Servicing

Kubota L3430 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Check the engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filter elements. Install a new filters if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE20 or SAE30, SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, 15W-40. API Service Classification CD, CE, CF or CG. Lubricating system capacity (Kubota D1703-MA) - 6.0 qts (5.7 L). After replacing the engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Clean fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160.

Engine air filter elements servicing. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if it is low.

Changing hydraulic filter element. Part number of hydraulic filter: HHTA0-37710. After replacing the filter element, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. Add hydraulic/transmission oil if it is low.

Every 400 hours

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Recommended hydraulic/transmission oil type: Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. How much to fill: System capacity - 11.1 gal (42 L). Add hydraulic/transmission oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Change engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160. Check the operation of injection pump.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L). Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Install a new engine primary and secondary air filter element.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
