Kubota L305DT Maintenance Information

Kubota L305DT Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. If hydraulic/transmission oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine air filters. Install a new filters if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Engine oil change. Recommended engine oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service Classification CC or CD. How much is required: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1301-DA) - 6.6 qts (6.3 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Clean engine primary air filter element. Replace if required. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Clean engine secondary air filter element. Change if required. Part number - 15287-11490.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 150 hours

Replacing engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: 15213-32090. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Every 300 hours

Transmission/hydraulic fluid change. Fluid type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much to pour: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 32.8 qts (31 L). Add hydraulic/transmission oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Clean filter in hydraulic line. Hydraulic filter part number - 37300-37710. Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level after filter cleaning. Add fluid if required.

Every 400 hours

Replace engine air filter elements. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 15287-11490.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15221-43170. Check diesel fuel pump performance.

Change the front axle. Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle capacity: 2.6 qts (2.5 L). Steering gear case: 0.70 qts (0.66 L). Steering gearbox: 0.30 qts (0.28 L).

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.1 qts (5.8 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charge.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
