Kubota BX22 Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checks

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. When hydraulic/transmission oil is low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine air filter element. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idle speed, steering, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Engine oil change. Engine oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 15W-40. Oil system capacity (Kubota D905-E): 2.6 qts (2.4 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Every 200 hours

Replacing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH150-32094. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If necessary, add it.

Check and clean the engine air filter. Part Number: K1211-82320.

Every 300 hours

Replace hydraulic/transmission fluid. Fluid type - Kubota UDT, Super UDT, Super UDT-2. How much to add: Transmission/hydraulic oil capacity: 10.8 qts (10.2 L). After completing the filling procedure, check hydraulic/transmission fluid level.

HST oil filter replacement. Hydrostatic transmission fluid filter part number - HHK20-36990. After installing a new filter, check the hydraulic/transmission oil. If necessary, add it.

Replace hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: 66021-36390. When the filter element is replaced, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. If after checking the hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Every 400 Hours

Changing engine air filter element. Air filter element part number: K1211-82320.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 12581-43012. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 5.0 qts (4.7 L).

Replace the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 3.3 qts (3.1 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charge.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
