Kubota L3000 Maintenance Data

Kubota L3000 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Engine air filter checking. Change if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, service brakes and hand brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Engine oil change. Engine oil type - SAE10W, SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, CF, DS or DM. How much is required: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1503-ELA) - 5.8 qts (5.5 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Inspect engine air filter. Service if required. Air filter part number - T0070-16324.

Inspect engine fuel filter. Service if required. Fuel filter part number - 15221-43170.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Oil type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil filter changing. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If necessary, add it.

Replace hydraulic filter element. Hydraulic filter part number: 34150-37710. Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level after installing a new filter. Add fluid if required.

Every 400 hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil type: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. System capacity: 7.4 gal (28.0 L). Add transmission/hydraulic oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Engine air filter elements replacement. Air filter element part number: T0070-16324.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15221-43170. Check injection pump settings.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle case capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Change engine oil and filter. Service lubrication system components.

Replace engine air filter element.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Replace hydraulic filter.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
