Kubota L2800DT Maintenance and Servicing

Kubota L2800DT Service Intervals

Every 10 hours or Daily Inspection

Check motor oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Checking engine air filters. Clean or change if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Replace if required. Air filter part number - TA040-93230.

Clean engine secondary air filter element. Replace if required. Part number - TA040-93220.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil change. Motor oil type: SAE10W, SAE 10W-30, 15W-40, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, DS or DM. Oil system capacity (Kubota D1403-M-E2A): 6.0 qts (5.7 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Change engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add oil.

Every 400 hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Oil type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much to change: Fluid capacity - 7.2 gal (27.5 L). After replacing the transmission/hydraulic oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: HH3A0-82623. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is low, add it.

Clean engine air filters. Change if required. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Change diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 6A320-59930. Check diesel fuel pump performance.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle case capacity: 4.8 qts (4.5 L).

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil.

Change hydraulic filter.

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the fuel filter. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (5.9 L).

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system.

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
