Kubota L2850GST Maintenance Information

Kubota L2850GST Service Intervals

Every Ten hours or Daily Inspection

Check motor oil level. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. When hydraulic/transmission oil is low, add recommended volume.

Check engine air filters. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering unit, hand brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Inspect engine air filters. Service if required. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 17381-11180.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Gear Oil - SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil change. Motor oil type: SAE10W, SAE 10W-30, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, DS or DM. How much to add: Engine oil capacity (Kubota V1702-DI-A) - 8.9 qts (8.4 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Hydraulic oil filter changing. Hydraulic filter part number: H3840-37712 and 30401-37580. After installation, checking the hydraulic/transmission oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Every 400 hours

Engine oil filter changing. Filter part number - HH164-32430. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If required, add it.

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended hydraulic/transmission oil: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much to change: Fluid capacity - 7.1 gal (27.0 L). Check hydraulic/transmission fluid level after changing.

Service engine primary air filter element. Change if required. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Clean engine secondary air filter element. Replace if required. Part number - 17381-11180.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160. Check the correct operation of injection pump.

Front axle oil change. Front axle case capacity: 6.8 qts (6.4 L). Steering gear case: 0.11 qts (0.1 L). Steering gear box: 0.21 qts (0.2 L).

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 5.9 qts (5.6 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
