Kubota L5460HSTC Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Check engine oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. If hydraulic/transmission oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Check engine air filter elements. Change if necessary.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine speed, steering unit, service brakes and hand brake. Repair any damage if required.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Change if necessary.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Changing HST filter. Hydrostatic transmission filter part number - HHTA0-59900. After installing a new filter, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. Add hydraulic/transmission oil if it is low.

Every 400 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API Service Classification CC, CD, CF or CJ. How much to add: Engine oil capacity (Kubota V2403-CRT) - 10 qts (9.4 L). After adding engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Changing engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if required.

Change engine air filters. Engine primary air filter part number: TD270-93232. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 1J800-43172. Check the operation of fuel injection pump.

Changing hydraulic/transmission fluid. Hydraulic/transmission fluid type - Kubota Super UDT. How much to add: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 12 gal (45.0 L). Add hydraulic/transmission fluid to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Change filter element in hydraulic line. Hydraulic filter element part number - HHTA0-37710. After installing a new filter, check the hydraulic/transmission oil. Add oil if required.

Front axle oil change. Front Axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle case capacity: 9.5 qts (9.0 L).

Check and adjust the service and parking brakes.
