Kubota L245D Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection

Check motor oil level. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine air filter. Install a new filter if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Inspect and clean engine air filter. Part number: 70000-11221

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Gear Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Changing engine oil. Engine oil type - API Service CC, or CD SAE20, SAE30, 10W-30. How much to add: Oil system capacity (Kubota DH1101-A): 6.4 qts (6.1 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Every 300 Hours

Transmission/hydraulic fluid change. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 24.5 qts (23.0 L). Check transmission/hydraulic oil level after replacement.

Replace hydraulic oil filter. Part number of hydraulic filter element - 34150-37710. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil. If necessary, add it.

Change front axle oil. Steering Gear Box: 0.30 qts (0.28 L).

Every 400 Hours

Changing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: 15213-32090. When installing a new filter, flush the filter housing from dirt. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Replacing engine air filter element. Air filter part number - 70000-11221.

Change diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15221-43170. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7 qts (6.6 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
