Kubota L245HC Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. If hydraulic/transmission oil is too low, fill in new oil.

Check engine air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Check the air filter and clean if required. Part number: 70000-11221.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Gear Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended engine oil: API Service CC, or CD SAE20, SAE30, 10W-30. Oil system capacity (Kubota DH1101-A): 6.4 qts (6.1 L). After completing the filling procedure, check motor oil level.

Every 300 Hours

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended oil: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 39 qts (36.8 L). Fill with the new hydraulic/transmission fluid up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Change front axle fluid. Fluid Type: SAE 80W-90.

Replace hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 35219-37710. Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level after installing a new filter. Add hydraulic/transmission fluid if it is low.

Every 400 Hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Filter part number - 15213-32090. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. When installation is complete, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Engine air filter elements replacement. Air filter element part number: 70000-11221.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 15221-43170. Check the operation of injection pump.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 7 qts (6.6 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
