Kubota L2550DT Maintenance Information

Kubota L2550DT Service Intervals

Every 10 hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine primary/secondary air filters. Change if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Engine air filter elements checks. Service as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 15287-11490.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended oil type - SAE10W, 10W-30, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, DS or DM. How much to change: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1402-DI-A) - 6.7 qts (6.3 L). After changing the oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Hydraulic fluid filter changing. Hydraulic filter part number: H3840-37712/30400-37710/31391-38830. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is recommended. Add transmission/hydraulic fluid if it is low.

Every 400 hours

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Oil type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much is required: Fluid capacity - 7.4 gal (28 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle case capacity: 6.8 qts (6.4 L). Steering gear case: 0.11 qts (0.1 L). Steering gear box: 0.21 qts (0.2 L).

Changing engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Replace engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Replace engine secondary air filter element. Part number - 15287-11490.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 15521-43160. Check the correct operation of diesel fuel pump.

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
