Kubota L2900DT Service Intervals

Every 10 hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. If the hydraulic/transmission fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Engine air filters checking. Change if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Change engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE10W, SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, CF, DS or DM. How much to pour: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1503-L-A) - 5.8 qts (5.5 L). After changing the oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Check engine primary air filter. Clean if required. Air filter part number - TA040-93230.

Check engine secondary air filter. Clean if required. Part number - TA040-93220.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When installing a new filter, flush the filter housing from dirt. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: HHTA0-37710. After installing a new filter, check the hydraulic/transmission oil. Add oil if required.

Every 400 hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended hydraulic/transmission oil: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much to add: Fluid capacity - 10.3 gal (39.0 L). Check hydraulic/transmission oil level after replacement.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160. Check diesel fuel pump settings.

Change front axle oil. Front axle case capacity: 5.8 qts (5.5 L).

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.4 qts (7 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
