Kubota L305 Maintenance Data

Kubota L305 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine primary and secondary air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idling, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service Classification CC or CD. How much to fill: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1301-DA) - 6.6 qts (6.2 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Check engine air filter elements. Clean if required. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 15287-11490.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 150 hours

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - 15213-32090. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Every 300 hours

Transmission/hydraulic fluid change. Recommended oil type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Fluid capacity: 31.7 qts (30 L). After completing the filling procedure, check transmission/hydraulic oil level.

Clean hydraulic fluid filter. Hydraulic oil filter part number: 37300-37710 (Screen). When procedure is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Every 400 hours

Change diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter element part number: 15221-43170. Check injection pump adjustments.

Change engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Replace engine secondary air filter element. Part number - 15287-11490.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service oil system components.

Install a new engine air filter elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Clean hydraulic filter and change gasket.

Replace the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.1 qts (5.8 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
