Kubota L3800HST Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill up fresh oil.

Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. When hydraulic/transmission oil is low, fill in new oil.

Checking engine air filters. Replace if required.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine speed, steering, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - TA040-93220.

Clean engine secondary air filter element. Part number - TA040-93230.

Service engine fuel filter element. Replace as required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Top up as necessary.

Every 200 Hours

Change engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE30, SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API Service CF, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4 or CI-4. How much is needed: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1803-M-E3) - 7.5 qts (7.1 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Change engine oil filter. Oil filter part number - HH164-32430. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. When installation is complete, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Changing HST return filter. Hydrostatic transmission filter part number - HHK70-14073. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. Add fluid if required.

Every 400 Hours

Change diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number - 6A320-59930. Check injection pump adjustments.

Replace hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: HH3A0-82623. When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. If required, add it.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Recommended fluid type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much is needed: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 24.8 qts (23.4 L). After filling, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level with a dipstick.

Change front axle lubricant. Front axle capacity: 4.8 qts (4.5 L). Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
