Kubota L3400D Maintenance Information

Kubota L3400D Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection

Check the engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, add recommended volume.

Checking engine air filters. Change if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering unit, service brakes and hand brake. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Service engine fuel filter element. Part number - 6A320-59930.

Clean engine primary and secondary air filter elements. Primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Engine oil change. Engine oil type - SAE20 or SAE 10W-30, 10W-40. API Service Classification CD, CE or CF. How much to add: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1703-MA-E2A) - 6.0 qts (5.7 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Replacing engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Replace hydraulic oil filter. Part number of hydraulic filter element - HH3A0-82623. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Every 400 hours

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic fluid: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. How much to fill: Transmission and hydraulic system capacity - 29.2 qts (27.5 L). Add transmission/hydraulic oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Engine fuel filter elements replacement. Fuel filter part number: 6A320-59930. Check fuel injection pump after filter changing.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle capacity: 4.8 qts (4.5 L). Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
