Kubota L3540 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Check motor oil level. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine air filters. Install a new filters if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idling, steering unit, hand brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Change if necessary.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required.

Clean fuel filter. Replace as required.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended oil - SAE20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service CC or CD. How much is required: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1803-M-E2) - 7.1 qts (6.7 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Engine oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When installing a new filter, flush the filter housing from dirt. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add oil.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter element part number - HHTA0-37710. Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level after installing a new filter element. Add oil if necessary.

Every 400 Hours

Transmission/hydraulic fluid change. Recommended oil: Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. System capacity: 11.1 gal (42.2 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic fluid up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Change engine air filters. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160. Check injection pump adjustments.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L). Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Check and adjust injector pump.
