Kubota L3540D Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checking

Check engine oil level. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking. If transmission/hydraulic fluid is too low, add it.

Checking air filters. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering, service brakes and parking brake. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine air filter elements. Replace as required.

Service engine fuel filter element. Change if necessary.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended motor oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service CC or CD. How much to add: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1803- M-E2) - 7.1 qts (6.7 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Replace engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH164-32430. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Changing hydraulic filter element. Hydraulic filter element part number - HHTA0-37710. When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic oil level. If required, add it.

Every 400 Hours

Replace engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - TA040-93230.

Replace engine secondary air filter element. Part number - TA040-93220.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 15521-43160. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid. Oil type - Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 11.1 gal (42.2 L). Add hydraulic/transmission oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L).

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.9 qts (7.5 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
