Kubota L3540GST Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checks

Check motor oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine air filters. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Change if necessary.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required.

Clean engine fuel filter. Change as required.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil: SAE20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service CC or CD. Oil system capacity (Kubota D1803-M-E2): 7.1 qts (6.7 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Hydraulic fluid filter changing. Filter part number - HHTA0-37710. When installation is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Every 400 Hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil type: Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. Fluid capacity: 11.1 gal (42.2 L). After filling, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level with a dipstick.

Change engine air filters. Engine primary air filter part number: TA040-93230. Engine secondary air filter part number: TA040-93220.

Replace fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 15521-43160. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L). Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.9 qts (7.5 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
