Kubota L355SS Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checks

Engine oil level checking procedure. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Engine air filter element checking. Replace if required.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check idle engine speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Change engine oil. Motor oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service Classification CC or CD. How much to pour: Engine oil capacity (Kubota V1702-A) - 9.6 qts (9.1 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Clean engine air filter element. Replace as required.

Service engine fuel filter element. Change if necessary.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 150 Hours

Engine oil filter changing. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Every 300 Hours

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. How much to change: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 8.4 gal (31.8 L). Add hydraulic/transmission oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Replace filter in hydraulic line. Part number of hydraulic filter element - 37300-37710. When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. If after checking the hydraulic/transmission fluid level is low, add it.

Change front axle fluid. Front differential case capacity: 2.50 qts (2.35 L). Front axle gear case: 0.70 qts (0.66 L). Gear Lube: SAE 80W-90.

Every 400 Hours

Replace engine air filter element. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Change diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160. Check diesel fuel pump performance.

Change filter and engine oil. Service lubrication system components.

Install a new engine air filter.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil.

Change hydraulic filter and add fresh fluid to hydraulic system.

Replace the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.4 qts (7.0 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charge.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
