Kubota L260 Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten hours or Daily Checking

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission oil level. If the hydraulic/transmission fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and hand brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil Change And Filter Replacement

Every 100 hours

Replace engine oil. Motor oil type: API service DS or DM, SAE20, SAE30. How much to change: Engine oil capacity (Kubota Z1300) - 4.8 qts (4.5 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Clean fuel filter element. Engine fuel filter part number: 70000-14630.

Every 150 hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Engine oil filter part number: 15213-32090. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Every 300 hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended fluid type: Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT (SAE80 Gear Lube). How much to add: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 5.2 gal (19.8 L). After adding hydraulic/transmission fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Perform hydraulic filter element replacement. Hydraulic filter part number: 32210-37710 (Screen). When installation procedure is complete, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Front axle oil change. Lubricant type - SAE80 Gear Lube.

Change diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 70000-14630. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the oil system.

Install a new hydraulic filter.

Change hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.0 qts (6.6 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charge.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
